Psalm 42
A song to teach, from the Korachites
The Korachites are credited with twelve psalms (42-49, 84-85, 87-88). An additional twelve psalms are attributed to their leader Asaph (50 and 73-83). Jeduthun/Ethan is associated with psalms 39, 62 and 89, and Asaf may have written psalm 77 for him. Their third leader, Heman, is mentioned as co-author of psalm 88. But what is their story?
